Scaffold Ledger

The Guardrail Scaffold Ledger is a lateral horizontal component and constructed from the same scaffolding tube as Standards. Their approval classifies them as non-load bearing. Ledgers sit at opposite ends of Steel Planks to secure the working platform. Each Ledger provides automatic spacing for Standards in both access scaffold and formwork support applications.

Scaffolding Ledgers also act as a guardrail for ground level and at height Kwikstage bays. They connect to Handrail Posts to create effective edge protection.

A spigot and captive wedge assembly on each end of the fit snugly into the “V” pressings on adjacent components. A positive joint is secured by tapping the wedge firm. The captive wedge is easily “cocked” for trouble-free installation and dismantling. Galvanisation during the manufacturing process creates a sturdy component able to withstand the elements.
