Scaffold Toeboard

The Scaffold Toeboard are panels that attach to steel platforms at right angles. They are a vertical barrier at floor level that prevents materials and equipment from falling off a working platform. They are an important safety feature on scaffolding, protecting employees at the ground level of a worksite. Portable 0.7m and 1.2m components allow for easy installation with Standards and Steel Planks.

Toeboards are a preventative measure to injuries or deaths from falling objects. Boards also save time retrieving tools if they have fallen. Galvanised boards are portected from rust, providing additional longevity. To ensure WorkSafe compliance, boards must:

• Not be less than 100mm above the top of the floor;
• Any gap between the toe-board and the floor must not exceed 10mm; and
• Should be firmly attached to the floor or posts.

All Scaffold Toeboards receive certification after rigourous testing in-line with Australian standards.
